If you are having technical problems with Smart Wedding, please make sure you have the latest version. When installing an update, just click on the file link below to download the setup file
and run it. You need to have an existing version of Smart Wedding installed on your system in order to run the update. Do not uninstall the previous version before installing the update. If the update did not correct your problem, please proceed to step 2 to notify technical support.

How do I reset my Wedding Date?

Go to the Events section by clicking on Events from the left menu. Double-Click on the Reception event to open the event details and enter the new date and click on the OK button. Now Double-Click on the Ceremony event to open the event details and chage the date and click on the OK button. You must change the date in both of these events. In versions earlier than 4.00.1073, the Reception date was used to automatically recalculate your TaskList due dates. SInce version 4.00.1073 and later, the Ceremony event is used to automatically recalculate the TaskList due dates. You may have to close the program and then open it up again for the new due dates to take effect.

 
I am using a Caligrapher or an envelope Printing Company, what is the best way to give them my guest list information?

There are 3 options.

(1) You can use the Stationery section to prepare your envelope wording. The program will automatically generate default wording based on your guest list details, but you should go through each guest in Step 3 of the printing wizard and make any necessary changes to the wording in the Wording Box. For example, if you wish to add "and Family" to certain invitations.

You could choose to print Outer Envelopes on Labels and then choose your formatting option. Even though you don't need envelopes, you can still print this report on PLAIN paper to get the necessary information.

(2) Under the File menu, there is a special option called Export Outer Envelope Wording. This option will create a text file that can be emailed or printed out and provided to your Caligrapher or Printing Company that contains the Envelope Wording. You can prepare the wording by using the Stationery Print Wizard or you can Export the file and edit the text file in your favorite word processor before sending it to your Caligrapher or Printing Company.

(3) If your printing company or caligrapher accepts CSV files (Excel spreadsheet files) then you can use the Export Guests option under the File menu. The exported file will contain both the Outer and Inner Envelope wording as prepared in the Stationery section of the program.
